In between meetings with contractors, errands, and driving to work, I made a couple of brief stops this morning. At Cutler Wetlands there was a Gull-billed Tern standing on a mud flat on the north side. This is only the second time I see this species in Dade. A Solitary Sandpiper, Spotted Sandpiper, 3 Least Sandpipers, and a few SB Dowitchers, BN Stilts and Yellowlegs were the only shorebirds seen. Water levels are close to perfect, so hopefully more stuff will show up.

At the Matheson Hammock service road on the west side of Old Cutler Rd. there were two Black-whiskered Vireos about 150 ft. down. I onl walked a short distance, but also saw 3 Northern Parulas, a Prairie Warbler, and a bunch of Ganatacatchers.
