The non-laughing gull there this morning looked like a more-or-less normal 1st year LBB gull. In particular, it was too small for Kelp.

The size described (30% larger than Laughing) is fine for LBB, not good for Kelp.

Shorebirds seen included Willet, both Yellowlegs, Solitary, Stilt, Least, and Semipalmated Sandpipers, BN Stilts, and Short-billed Dowitchers (by call). Not all dowitchers could be identified as to species. A couple of Roseate Spoonbills were present, but well-hidden.
