I poked around on the the site here, and found one relevant post from '03...
"...the best place to see the Scrub Jays is actually north of the main entrance [for Jonathan Dickinson SP]. Go to the District 5 headquarter's road and turn in there. You cant miss it,,, there's a huge loran radio tower there. You can't go into the loran field but you really don't need to. All you have to do is stand in the parkinglot of the headquarter's building and look out into the low cut scrub field surrounding the tower. "
I don't know if this spot is still worth a stop five years later.
