The limpkin that showed up in our yard hung around for eight days and ate every snail on our one acre property! It was great having him around for the snail removal! He knew exactly what he was doing and got along quite well in spite of his injury. Every morning he would be in the trees along the canal in front of our house, fly over to our side by our front gate, and walk in and start snailing. He hasn't been around since Thursday, but I hear one calling nearby every morning, so I am hoping thats him I am hearing. Also, today we had three redstarts show up. Good Birding!
