Most lawns, yes. The grass grows in long rhizomes.Just pull up a foor or two and go near the end. See where the blade emerges the grass goes from green to white. Pull it from its attachment...maybe four or five and hang them from the cage bars and the budgies will gnaw, nibble, and "worry" them worse than a dog on a bone. Just make sure the lawn was sprayed with pesticides or wash the grass blades thoroughly.
