I did some birding at Matheson Hammock County Park late in the morning today (July 24). Highlights included:

Yellow-crowned Night-heron: adult plumage bird found fishing along the trail that cuts through the mangrove forest.

Blue-gray Gnatcatchers: four individuals found scattered throughout the park -- two were found in the park/picnic area at the entrance from Old Cutler Road.

Red-shouldered Hawk: found near the entrance from Old Cutler Road, feeding on the ground.

Great Crested Flycatcher: found around the lake near the entrance from Old Cutler Road.

Willet: a single Willet mixed in with a flock of White Ibis on the the other side of the bridge on the service road.
