This picture and story comes from Ellie a resident in Coral Springs who came home from work to find this gorgeous red shouldered hawk sitting on top of her husband's car. She tip toed past hoping not to disturb it. It didn't fly. She went into the house to get her camera. It didn't fly. She hunted for her telephoto lens. It didn't fly. She came back outside. It didn't fly. she moved around it to get the best setting sun. It didn't fly. She saw the dove pressed into the lawn still as it could be. And neither flew. So, what the heck she took the picture!
It flew and so did the dove.
So, now we have white wing dove eating shell peanuts and hawks standing on cars in residential drive ways. Who needs Cutler wetland? Just go home to your yard!
