Hi Nina,
No, BAWWs are not year-round residents in Florida. They are winter residents that begin to arrive in mid-July and may linger to mid-May.
And your two birds are likley not a pair, as males usually don't arrive in Florida this early (they're either females or juveniles), and pairs don't migrate together anyway.
