But I wonder what about the boreal forest in Alberta that is being clear cut to get at the tar sands beneath it for "North American oil". Also, since the land below the forest is peat, does that mean that buying Canadian sphagnum at Home Depot supports the destruction of the boreal forest?
Just curious.
