I received the following email today concerning the AD Barnes planning process. Unfortunately, I will be in Peru(pictures to follow)-however, I urge everyone to spread the word and attend so that our voices and concerns are heard.

Thank you for coming to the first A.D. Barnes public workshop that took place on Wednesday, May 7, 2008. It is important to us to facilitate public involvement so that we can make thoughtful decisions about improvements and management of A.D. Barnes Park for your community.
A second, follow-up meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 29, 2008 from 7-9 PM at A.D. Barnes Park, Recreation Building at 3401 SW 72nd Avenue Miami, FL 33155. Miami-Dade County staff and consultant will present improvements to the General Plan and answer questions about planning, development and operations.
