FL's West Coast and Green Cay

I spent the weekend in the Fort Myer's area, Lee County gave me 61 species...not bad for summer. The highlights were Florida Scrub Jays at Hickey Creek Mitigation Park and the shorebirds at Bunche Beach.

Green Cay is still quite birdy this summer with a new batch of Limpkin chicks to keep you occupied. Also quite a few Least Bittern are out and about. The Roseate Spoonbills have also been making daily appearances.
