Last week I went to Atlanta and visited my brother in Duluth and marvelled at their feeders. It made me mad that I can't even put up a feeder without increasing the Eurasian collared dove population. Within five minutes:
American goldfinch (so many!)
Tufted titmouse
Song sparrow
Northern Cardinal
White-breasted nuthatch (breeding in their yard in a birdhouse)
Chickadee
Mourning dove
plus a northern mockingbird was singing. Get that? All those incredibly cool birds AND mockingbirds? Not fair.
