I also had two Spot-Breasted Orioles in my neighborhood today! What a nice way to start the day too! Other 4th of July birds seen today while enjoying the holiday with family and friends were a Gray Kingbird perched on a fence at 152 St. & 117th Ave.(I have been seeing them here regularly), Common Nighthawks flying at dusk, and numerous other "regulars" throughout the day, including a very persistently calling Cardinal in nearby trees at a friend's home. At my sister's development in Homestead there is a multitude of Muscovy ducks with young at various ages which is very interesting to see. (It also makes it a challenge to drive through the neighborhood at times!) Hope everyone had a great 4th of July!
