Yesterday, Albert G. and myself searched the A.D. Barnes grounds for the Connecticut warbler. We searched before and after work (morning and late afternoon). No such luck. Bill Boeringer was there in the afternoon and told us that the Connecticut's one of the hardest warblers to spot, short of Kirtland's. I think I'll try today again and bring an extra pair of eyes with me. Chances are he moved on and I'm pretty much Barned-out by now. Oh well, C'est la vie.
