A small group of Audubon Members/photographers gathered at the location in Loxahatchee NWR in PBCounty to observe the nesting Snail Kites. The nest is 1500 yards south of the parking lot by the great chickee. It is a pleasant stroll in the morning. A water bin to the west of the raod has been mowed down and features Black-necked stilts and nests, killdeer with two week old chicks and a large number of white and glossy ibis. The nest is best observed from the road berm just a short distance north of the boardwalk to the blind.

The blind itself features a view of yet another Kite not of the breeding pair with a good view and nice supports for camera lenses.
