You indeed did have Brown Basilisk.
In Matheson you probably did get the smaller Spiny-tailed Iguana, aswell as many more Green Iguanas. The other lizard in the Ficus tree is a Cuban Knight Anole. All those lizards are exotics.
The Anole is actually related to another anole called the Bark Anole, which is also a thriving exotic here. Maybe that is why he got the two mixed up.
