Hey, Alex. I'm rooting for you. I started my life list when I was about your age. I didn't know ANYBODY who liked birds until I got to college. Your interest and life list are way ahead of mine! Just bring your binoculars with you everywhere you go and it won't matter if your parents or friends are birders. It won't take long to get all the South Florida birds on your life list. Then you can come up to Maine and we'll show you Atlantic Puffins and Boreal Chickadees.
