Thanks Rob for reporting the Roseate Terns at the Marathon Government Center. Gary and I were able to see them today around 1:30 p.m. (Lifers for us!) They were flying around the building with the Least Terns but also perched on the pilings behind the building. We had missed seeing them on a recent TAS trip so it was great to go try again and have success. Some of the Roseates were next to Least Terns on the pilings so we could easily compare the differences in the two species. We also tried for the Mangrove Cuckoo in Dagney Johnson Botanical State Park without any luck - but we did have wonderful views of a Black-whiskered Vireo perched and calling in the open.
