It's been a long time since Toe has been able to show me a Life Bird on a pelagic trip and nothing changed on this one. When we saw the white bird at a distance, he and I were both thinking a White-tailed to add to the life list. But very quickly I was able to see the Black line running through the eye wrapping around to the nape of the neck... Darn, another Red-billed Tropicbird.

A nice year bird, but...

Toe you're must do better next time. The Dolphin I'm going have for dinner tonight will help make up for the disappointment. ;)

It was a fun trip and everyone but Toe and I picked up several life birds. The Storm Petrels were a lot of fun to watch and we got really good close looks of all the birds.

It was tough shooting from a moving boat in choppy water and I over exposed the Red-billed not expecting photograph a mostly white birds, but a few photos came out pretty nice.
