The bill seems too long for a cowbird, and the color doesn't seem to fit grackle, or blackbird. Any expert opinions?
The bird was in close association with bluebirds, savannah sparrows, and white crowned sparrows in back of Old Faithful Lodge in Yellowstone.
And speaking of Yellowstone, I can not believe the color difference between the yellow-rumped warbler of Florida and the Western one. The yellow on the western variety fairly "day-glows. For a moment I was thinking that they have the better portion then we do in Florida. Then I reviewed my rosette spoonbills and I decided naawwwww!
