A redstart "fallout" at the side yard bird bath. Everywhere. Redstarts. And then, here comes a yellowbilled cuckoo and pushes aside a ring necked dove for feed. Incredible. All those years wasted looking for the cuckoo in ENP and one comes to me.
And then, comes the first rain drops perhaps signaling the wet season?
Be still my beating heart. How could we take three surprises in one day?
