A pulse of birds was in Bill Baggs Cape Florida SP this morning, courtesy of W winds through 1 AM, changing to NNW by 6 AM. Birds seen are to be expected during (our) late spring migration, but it's always nice to see a Connecticut Warbler. It was on the dirt Nature Trail, 160 yards south of the restroom road intersect. There is a large Green Buttonwood tangle on the west side of the trail and the bird was 8 feet off the ground in the vegetation.

Migrants:

Yellow-billed Cuckoo 3
Northern Parula 1
Magnolia Warbler 2
Black-throated Blue Warbler 2
Blackpoll Warbler 72
Black-and-white Warbler 2
American Redstart 50
Northern Waterthrush 23
Connecticut Warbler 1
Common Yellowthroat 36
Bobolink 17
