I finally got a chance to get out on my brother's boat yesterday and we had perfect weather to get out to the deep water off Summerland Key. Out in about 800 feet we had good fishing, catching all the schoolie dolphin we could want (plus one that went about 20lbs) and saw the following birds:
Audubon's Shearwater - ~10
Band-rumped Storm-Petrel - 4
Brown Booby - 1 juv
Red-necked Phalarope - flock of about 10
Arctic Tern - one gorgeous adult
Sooty Tern - lots
Bridled Tern - 5
Brown Noddy - 1
Barn Swallow - 1
