And THAT folks is the beauty of our birdboard.

As mysteries unravel thanks to the "meeting of the minds", we realize that no one man is a mountain and that no one photograph can clinch an ID 100% of the time. I'm glad the general consensus is Yellow (the last four photos helped). I gave the benefit of a doubt since I have never seen an immature MOWA except in photos (by the way, great photos Robin). Never-the-less, the idea of a MOWA was nice (even if it was the wrong plumage for the wrong time of year).

Alas, I agree with Vince in his choice of warbler field guide, but I DO NOT agree with the Klingon: the bird IS NOT a "Cugan" Yellow Warbler! Cugan?! You will pay dearly for that!

That said, I will retire since I have had one too many Alligator Ales and it's taken me a while to write these sentences.
