A few days ago, I had a likely White-crowned Pigeon fly over my yard (which is near FIU), but with so many Common Pigeons in my neighborhood, I wasn't positive. No doubt about it this morning, as one perched in my day jessamine eating the berries and giving me the best looks I've ever had. It was almost disappointing--I'm used to this as a secretive species, flushing at a great distance when I'm out kayaking, and skulking in the background at Key Largo Hammocks when I take a visitor to seek it.
I also had a new yard butterfly, Checkered White.
Will this help sell my house??
Good NAMC-ing tomorrow,
Susan
