The pattern for these birds (assuming you're talking about the birds at the Tortugas) is that they hang around as long as all the Brown Noddies are there, which should be through early summer at least. The problem is that few birders visit the Tortugas after the first week of May, so they don't get reported. There are apparently at least two Black Noddies out there this year. Be aware that juvenile Sooty Terns are out and flying now and they are superficially similar to a Black Noddy if not seen well. They won't be sitting on the coaling docks, but you may see them perched in the colony.
