Black-hooded Parakeets in Fort Lauderdale

Is this a big deal? I had only seen Monk Parakeets before. I searched this site with google, and only saw these mentioned in a CBC in Ft. Myers. I saw two in Birch State Park and by chance was in Coral Springs and did a quick walk-through of Tall Cypress and saw another.

It was a big suprise for me because I just returned from three months in South America, where I had just a few days before seen and photographed these in an aviary in Brazil.

Re my trip, I wrote and put trip reports and photos on my site birdphotos.com, and appreciate the tips I got in January from this list sbout SA.
