With Robin Diaz out of town for awhile I figured somebody has to go see what is kicking around Bill Baggs Cape Florida SP:

Gray catbird-2
Northern Parula-7 M&F
GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER-1 M
Black-throated blue warbler-~40 M&F
Cape May warbler-~40 M&F
Western palm warbler-3
Blackpoll warbler-15 M&F
Black & white warbler-8 M&F
American redstart-~25 M&F
Worm-eating warbler-1
Ovenbird-15
Northern waterthrush-2
Common yellowthroat-~10 M&F
Indigo bunting-2 M&F
Painted bunting-1 F

The warblers were mostly in the hammocks around the bike path and the dirt road. One fruiting ficus tree had 8 or 9 Cape Mays in it; I personally have never seen so many on one day in my life! I got so excited that I had to go over to Barnes and continue birding. The numbers weren't as high but the quality was there:

Magnolia warbler-2 M
Prairie warbler-1 M
Blackpoll warbler-20 M&F
BAY-BREASTED WARBLER-1 M
Northern Parula-12 M&F
Black-throated blue warbler-~10 M&F
Cape May warbler-5 M&F
Black & white warbler-4 M&F
American redstart-~8 M&F
Worm-eating warbler-1
Ovenbird-2
Common yellowthroat-1

The BBWA was a real treat- beautiful spring male. I saw him by the wooden thing in the hammock, but was traveling with a pack of mostly Blackpolls that were drifting around the hammock. No sign of the LaSagra's flycatcher today.
