Hi All,
Looks like the Dry Tortugas still have a few more surprises left this season,
an Elegant Tern was spotted there this morning! Below is more from Elsa
Alvear:
"The Red-legged Honeycreeper is still being seen in Garden Key, Dry Tortugas
National Park. However, it is now flying all over -- it has been seen in
different parts of the parade grounds as well as the campground.
Some birders have had success just sitting near a flowering Geiger tree
because the bird comes to forage by the flowers.
Also seen in the last 24 hours - Elegant Tern on the Loggerhead Island dock,
and Black Noddy on the northern coaling dock at Garden Key."
Good Birding,
