As of May 4th, 2008 a single Black Noddy and a single Red-footed Booby remained at Dry Tortugas National Park. The noddy continues to favor the northmost pilings on the North Coaling Dock at Garden Key, while the booby is roosting in the trees on Long Key with the Magnificent Frigatebirds.

The noddy is best viewed from atop the northeast corner of Fort Jefferson. On May 4th the booby was visible throughout the day from Garden Key, although it was a very long and unsatifying scope view obscured by heat shimmmer.
