A pair of Mangrove Cuckoos was present at Dagny Johnson Botanical Park in Key Largo on Saturday May 3rd 2008. Between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. the pair was calling in the treetops along the main paved trail. Follow the main paved trail for approximately 250 yards. Look for a small sign for "Strangler Fig" on your right and the start of the nature trail on your left and a wooden bench, also on your left. The pair were working the treetops between this area and the wooden rail fence that marks the legal end of the paved road.
