I currently have an Screech Owlet in my birdhouse. This is the second year in a row that I have had Screech Owls in the birdhouse. Also, this morning there was a pair of Wood Ducks on the lake behind my house here in Davie off of Hiatus Road and SW 26th Street. I have not seen any Painted Buntings in a week, so apparently they have headed north. Each year I have several on my feeders from November to April. I have had as many as nine at a time, although this year they did not seem to be as many. In addition, there are two Burrowing Owl nest down the steet at the NE corner of Flamingo Road and SW 26th Street in Davie. The nest are right next to SW 26th Street, very close to the steet. I saw three standing in front of one of the nest this morning.
