In southeast Florida, American Crows are found in the interior, including Everglades National Park and Big Cypress National Preserve. Fish Crows are found in coastal areas, including most of Miami-Dade east of Krome Avenue, and all of Broward and Palm Beach Counties east of US 27. Though these two species can be reliably identified only by call, if you live or work in a developed part of Miami-Dade, Broward or Palm Beach Counties, you can safely assume that the crows you see there are Fish Crows.
