A beautiful male Scarlet Tanager was seen this afternoon in the trees behind where I work. It's church/preschool property and wouldn't be open to the public, but I wanted to report it to add to what is being seen at this time and in the hopes that more may be spotted in nearby areas. This is in the area near Miami-Dade College. The property has several large fruiting Ficus trees and has been getting alot of warbler activity too.
