My husband Dan and I also saw two birds in the area at about 1 p.m. They flew up from the tall grass and perched about 8 feet up on the high voltage tower on the north side of SW 3rd Terr. between SW 6th and 8th Aves. The smaller of the two held an insect in its bill. Eventually the smaller bird flew into a tree on the south side of the road. We watched the larger bird for about 5 minutes, but decided we'd better leave so as not to disturb the possible breading pair any further. Good birding!
