We found decent numbers of Blackpoll Warblers today. They seemed to be with us almost continually. I believe all of the group also saw Cape May, Black-throated Blue, Prairie, Redstart, and Common Yellowthroat. One of the group also reported a Black-and-White, making a total of 7 warbler species.

The exotics portion of the walk was productive. We saw Yellow-cheveroned, Red-masked, and possibly Mitred Parakeets, Lilac-crowned Parrots, Chestnut-fronted Macaw, and Hill Mynas. We ran into Bill Pranty at the usual parakeet tree. There was an early flyover of Monks, and Common Peafowl was also heard.

Finally, we found a pair of Pileated Woodpeckers, apparently nesting in a royal palm.
