It was there again in mid afternoon, but Trey, Bob, and I saw it fly away. Later, when a bunch of folks showed up, including David LaPuma, Bill Pranty, Mark Hedden, Larry Manfredi, John Boyd, Paul Miller, and a few others that I didn't get there name, all we saw was a White-rumped. Not a bad consolation prize, but the Baird's would have been nice. There are a lot of mud flats forming throughout the wetlands, so there is a good chance it just moved to a new spot. There's also a chance for something else to show up. I hope the number of White-rumpeds continues to increase like they did last year.
