The spring edition of the North American Migration Count will be held on on Saturday, May 9. Assistance is needed for all areas in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. If you have the ability to find and identify birds and would like to participate, please email me before the day of the count to let me know the area you would like to cover. I'll let you know if that area already has adequate coverage. If you plan to count birds in your backyard or neighborhood, please provide me with the ZIP Code for that location.
I'll send instructions, a NAMC tally sheet and unusual bird report form to all Miami-Dade and Monroe participants. If you plan to cover an area not in Miami-Dade or Monroe, please see NAMC county coordinators page on the FOS website (http://www.fosbirds.org/namc/NAMC_County_Coordinators_May_04.html) for the coordinator in that county.
