Numerous beautiful Blackpoll Warblers with their technicolor ankles were the stars, as 17 birders beat the Barnes bushes on a slow migration day. We did end up with nine species of warblers, and extra dividends were good looks at a Black-whiskered Vireo, a brief view of a female Indigo Bunting, a Cooper's Hawk, and two Aratinga parrots. The other 8 warbler species were N. Parula, Black and White, Prairie, Cape May, Black-throated Blue, Ovenbird, Common Yellowthroat, and Am. Redstart.

Good birding,
Susan
