Yesterday Mariel and I met Toe at Cutler Wetlands to look for the Baird's. After looking for the bird for a while we tried our last stop the west side from the apartments and there it was on a mud flat. Toe focused on the bird and says YES come look BAIRD'S SANDPIPER!!! Life bird for Mariel and I. Later Roxanne, Troy, Mary Alice and then Jeanette. It was awesome to get such a good bird @ the wetlands, who knows what will show up next. How many species of birds have visited this little plot of wetlands? Amazing the number must be good. Thanks Trey for finding the bird! Thanks to Toe for putting us on the bird and showing us all the field marks to look for when observing this wonderful species of shorebird.
