Our day-late warbler fallout ocurred right on schedule a couple of days ago and is starting to dry up tonight. I live in a "grandfather" oak hammock and have added quite a few yard birds to our list over the last week. The who's who mimics your sightings over the last 10 days or so:
Black-throated Blues
Common Yellowthroats
Prairie Warblers
Redstarts
Black polls
Black and Whites
Cape Mays
and our ubiquitous Palms and Butterbutts
Hope this wasn't the last wave - I'm hoping for a few more before summer sets in.
