An evening walk along the Matheson Hammock nature trail produced excellent views of a male Hooded Warbler. The bird was in the middle of the trail, visible as soon as you walked past the gate. It was drinking and bathing in the small puddles just past the trail entrance, sharing bath time with a B-T blue.
Otherwise, overall numbers were decreased from the previous two days, with only a few other warbler species seen (B-T Blue, Am. Redstart, Blackpoll).
