It is true, one answer is to just go, but as good as it was today, it should be almost the same tommorow. The winds and storms would mean that the warblers, mainly, will not try to brave the storm and keep migrating. Rather, they may stay in Barnes for a day or two. It was great today with 16 warbler species, a late goldfinch, chuck-wills-widow, yellow-billed cuckoo, and many other species. If you have never been there, you should probably check out the large Australian Pines at the Northern-most end of the park. Tons of warblers were seen there, aswell as a goldfinch.
Another good spot is where there is a boardwalk on the western part of the park where there are many oaks. That is where the chuck-wills-widow was seen, aswell as a magnolia warbler, redstarts, black-and-whites, parulas, and many other great birds. Good luck. If you get a worm-eating warbler, post it please. I need one for my lifelist.
