Good bunch of birds this morning on the east side of Matheson. I had a good feeling when I saw my first warblers before I even parked. 10 species of warblers in 1 1/2 hours of birding, with best being killer looks at a Swainson's and a few Worm-eating. Also had a singing Black-whiskered Vireo and both buntings, including a male Painted. Best bird though was a calling Brown-crested Flycatcher, which I didn't expect this time of year. Had great looks as it did it's call right over me. All this within 50 feet of my car.
