With SW winds tonight and W tomorrow, we may see a pick up in migration. Last year's big Connecticut Warbler run came after a few days of consistent west winds, so be on the lookout. With this in mind, we are approaching that time of year where some really good birds can show up here. Below is a small list of what we can expect. Coincidently, the scientific names of these birds have recently been changed to more accurately reflect their characteristics.

Connecticut Warbler (Consistentius billbaggsius)
La Sagra's Flycatcher (Specialititus robindiazus
Mangrove Cuckoo (Nowuseeous nowudontus)
White-rumped Sandpiper (Peepus elongita)
Mourning Warbler (Avoidius billboeringiana)
Black-whiskered Vireo (Invisiblus melodiacus)
Wilson's Phalarope (Phalaropus turnaroundus)

and, the biggest beer bird of them all:

Red-billed Tropicbird (Paulus bithornius)

Good luck to all in finding these!
