I went to Matheson looking for a good Bird of the Day. I figured worse case I could use a parrot, but I found a mixed flock of warblers along the access road on the west side of Old Cutler. The flock had about 25 birds.
Black and White
Parula
Prairie
Palm
Black-throated Blue
Cape May
Yellow Rump
Blackpoll
Redstart
I also saw a Common Yellow-throat and heard some Buntings that wouldn't show themselves.
I think this is my first 10 warbler walk this spring...
I hope things pick up soon. Maybe tomorrow morning will be better!
