hey its me Anthony, that kid you see on the trips. I need help on a bird ID At about early in the evening I was outside my backyard browsing around when there was a flock of house sparrows. On my platform feeder I saw a dull, brown bird, about a little bigger than house sparrow. It wasn't a female house sparrow, because it had a pointed, black beak and some white streakings on it's back and a white streak right on top of it's eye. Also it had some streakings on the head and stomach. Im pretty sure it was a female red winged black bird or an immature bird. I live in South Miami in schenly park. Thank you for your help.
