We birded Barnes this afternoon in hopes to see some new migrants. We were not disappointed although it was not a large amount of birds it was a bit diverse. While walking the nature trail we saw several Prairie & Black-throated Blue Warblers along with American Redstarts. Also got a few glimpses of a Cape May Warbler. The treat of the afternoon was seeing the Swainson's Warbler along the dirt leaf trail to the left of the fountain and 3 Blackpoll which was awesome!
We are also happy to see them starting to clean up the park and seem to be a few less cats from last week.
Nature is Awesome!
