ESCAMBIA COUNTY
A LINCOLN’S SPARROW was and a BLACK-WHISKERED VIREO (rare for panhandle) were found at Gulf Islands Nat'l Seashore headquarters’ trails in G. Breeze last weekend (fide L. Duncan). DeLorme p. 43; Pranty p. 46

FRANKLIN COUNTY
On Tuesday 22nd at St. George Island Youth Camp a possible PACIFIC LOON was reportedly seen in the bay NE of the Youth Camp. Youth Camp an ASH-THROATED FLYCATCHER, which was found in the Wax-myrtle shrub area near the path leading to the old dock (J. Cavanagh). DeLorme p. 60/61; Pranty p. 61

WAKULLA COUNTY
YELLOW-BREASTED CHATS have been seen at the power line cut on Tiger Hammock
Road (s of Wakulla Springs). Also earlier, two SWAINSON’S WARBLERS have been see only this road (J. Epler). DeLorme p. 50

A SHORT-TAILED HAWK was seen soaring over the “Heliport field” at St. Marks NWR on Saturday 19th (M. Collins & L. Thompson). DeLorme p. 50; Pranty p. 76

ST. JOHNS COUNTY
A singing CERULEAN WARBLER was see on Sunday 20th at Guana River State Park. Standing at '4-Way' - the crossroads at Oak Hammock Rd on the nature trail. Those of you familiar with the area will understand, that when walking in from the dam, as you approach the crossroads, there is a dense group of trees and vines on the left (southwest) side of the crossroad. This is an area, which has always been productive with warblers and such. The calls were heard at the southwest and then the northwest in the high trees. BREVARD COUNTY
An adult MASKED BOOBY was seen around ship channel in Cape Canaveral on Monday 21st. (C. Lambrecht). DeLorme p. 88

A BROWN BOOBY was seen at Sebastian Inlet on the north entrance around the jetty that is being worked on, Saturday 19th (C. Newton). DeLorme p. 96; Pranty p. 181

At Turkey Creek Sanctuary in Palm Bay two WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW was seen again on Saturday 19th(S. & B. Hills). DeLorme p. 88/96; Pranty p. 181

PINELLAS COUNTY
At Honeymoon Island SRA on Wednesday 23rd there was a LINCOLN’S SPARROW seen one mile out on the nature trail. It was hanging around an almost-dried-up puddle, which can be reached by taking the Osprey Trail about a mile out until you see the "How does that grab you?" sign. Turn left on the cross trail. The puddle is just beyond where this trail dead-ends at the Pelican Trail (B. & A. Hansen). DeLorme p. 90; Pranty p .121

SARASOTA COUNTY
An UPLAND SANDPIPER was found on Friday 25th at the Celery Fields off of Fruitville Rd in Sarasota. Directions: Instead of turning left into the gazebo on Palmer Boulevard, make a right onto Raymond Road at the crossroads just a 100 yards further along from the gazebo. Follow Raymond for about 1/2 a mile as it snakes around and pull over just as the double yellow lines end. The sandpiper was in the field on the left of the road, which is the field to the left of the pond. As you look at that field, the Bobolinks are in the weedy field behind you (J. Dubi & all). COLLIER COUNTY
BRONZED COWBIRDS were seen again at Eagle Lakes Community Park in Naples on Monday 21st. (J. & C. Shelly). DeLorme p. 111

BROWARD COUNTY
At the Ft. Lauderdale airport on Saturday 19th, six SMOOTH-BILLED ANIS were seen by the area on the south side of the "Perimeter Road" around the main runway (enter at the light off Griffin Road and go west to avoid the homeland security vehicle check; the greenbelt park was closed). On Tuesday 22nd a WHITE-TAILED KITE was seen in Cooper City. It was seen over a cow pasture on the south side of Stirling Road, just west of Pine Island (J. Toll).

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY
The LEAST FLYCATCHER is still at Lucky Hammock as of Wednesday 29th (M. Reid). DeLorme p. 122

A NASHVILLE WARBLER was seen around Flamingo, inside Everglades NP on Monday 21st. SHINY COWBIRDS also continue to be seen around Flamingo (T. Rodriguez). DeLorme p. 123; Pranty p. 234

MONROE COUNTY
At the Key Largo Botanical Site a MANGROVE CUCKOO was briefly seen along the S nature Trail on Wednesday 23rd (M. Reid). DeLorme p. 122/123; Pranty p. 244

The SLATY-BACKED GULL was seen again around the parking lot by Publix at Key West last weekend (L. Manfredi & all). DeLorme p. 126: Pranty p. 258

The WHITE-TIPPED DOVE was last reported to be seen on Monday morning 21st on Garden Key in the Dry Tortugas. The BLACK NODDY continues to be seen on the North Coaling Docks; late afternoon (after 3pm.) seems best for spotting it. SHINY COWBIRDS have also been present earlier this week at the Dry Tortugas and a “CARIBBEAN” SHORT-EARED OWL was seen on Loggerhead Key on Sunday 20th (M. Gardler & all). Boating trips from Key West to the Dry Tortugas and back have produced AUDUBON’S SHEARWATERS & POMARINE JAEGERS in the last week. DeLorme p. 126; Pranty p. 262
