A brief stop (1230-1400) at Treetops Park today yielded 6 warbler species, including at least 2 dozen Cape May, my FOTS Blackpoll, plus Worm-eating, BT Blue, Parula, and Black-and-White. A Pileated Woodpecker also put on a great show.

Broward County birders may want to find out what steps are being taken with what appeared to be a lot of new-growth Air Potato in the park (I was in the tower area).

On a more depressing note, one of my "secret" points for checking migrating shorebirds--at a small farm and cattle pen on Orange Drive just west of I-75-- is now a housing development.
